Ways to work together

Four kinds of partnership.

Families deserve access to resources they can trust. That standard applies to who we partner with as much as what we offer.

Refer families to us

Agencies, clinics, hospitals, schools, congregations, shelters, and caseworkers can refer directly. Tell us what the family needs and the safest way to reach them. We follow up and we close the loop with you.

Make a referral

Deliver a service here

Bring your programming, clinic hours, workshop, or service through the Community Door. We handle the space, the outreach, and the follow-through.

Propose a program

Fund the work

For foundations, corporate giving programs, and institutional funders: program budgets, outcome data, and site visits are available on request.

Employers and congregations

Matching gift programs, workplace campaigns, hiring pathways, in-kind support, and congregational partnerships.

Referral standards

What a warm referral
means here.

We respond

Within two business days of receiving a referral.

We close the loop

You hear back about whether the connection was made, within the limits of what the family consents to share.

We say no clearly

If we are not the right fit, we tell you and the family directly, and we help identify what might be.

Consent first

We do not discuss a family’s information without their permission, and we expect the same.

Safety-aware contact

Tell us if a phone or address is not safe. We will use the contact method the family designates.

No wrong door

Send us families even when you are unsure. Sorting it out is our job, not the family’s.

For funders

What we will
send you.

We measure our work by whether families are safer, more stable, better connected, and more able to move forward with dignity, clarity, and support. We report against those four honestly, including where results fall short.

Available on request within five business days: program budgets and narratives, outcome data, IRS Form 990, audited or reviewed financials, board roster and governance policies, and site visit scheduling.
