We publish
Program updates, partner announcements, staff and board news, what outcome data shows, and what we are changing because of it.
We publish shortfalls
Where results fall short of what we hoped, we say so. An organization that only reports good news cannot be believed about either.
We do not publish family stories without consent
Informed, written, specific, and revocable at any time without explanation and without effect on services.
We do not use before-and-after framing
No rescue narratives. A family is not depicted at their worst so that we can be depicted at our best.
We do not report a rate without its count
Eight of ten, not eighty percent. We serve a small number of households and we say so.
