We are a small organization and we report at our actual size. Every rate we publish carries its count. Eight of ten, not eighty percent.
Where a figure comes from follow-up contact, we publish the contact rate alongside it. If we reached seven of ten former residents and five were stably housed, we report both. We do not assume the three we could not reach were either successes or failures.
And we distinguish what we did from what happened. Families stabilize for many reasons, most of them not us. Where partners, benefits agencies, landlords, and a family’s own sustained effort contributed to an outcome, we say so rather than taking credit for all of it.
