About  /  Accountability

What we measure.
What we publish.

We are responsible for the trust placed in us by families, donors, partners, staff, board members, and community.

How we evaluate the work

Four questions.

We measure our work by whether families are safer, more stable, better connected, and more able to move forward with dignity, clarity, and support. Every program, partnership, and dollar is assessed against these four.

01

Safer

Are families safer than when they arrived, and do they have somewhere to return if that changes?

02

More stable

Has housing, income, or daily life become steadier and more predictable for the family?

03

Better connected

Are families connected to credible resources and to safe relationships that continue past our programs?

04

Able to move forward

Can the family move forward with dignity, clarity, and support — toward stability they defined themselves?

Stewardship

How we handle what
is entrusted to us.

Financial

Annual independent review, board-approved budget, and quarterly financial reporting to the board of directors.

Governance

A working board with defined committees, conflict-of-interest policy, and documented executive oversight.

Program data

Outcomes tracked against the four measures above and reviewed with staff on a set schedule, not only at reporting deadlines.

Privacy

Family information is confidential. We do not publish identifying details, photographs, or stories without informed, revocable written consent.

Honest reporting

We report what the data shows, including where results fall short of what we hoped. Communicating honestly is part of the commitment, not a risk to manage around.

Documents

Published materials.

Financial and program documents are available here. If something you need is not listed, ask and we will send it.

Annual report

Program activity, outcomes against the four measures, and financial summary.
